Building Futures Through Education

FatakPay X Seva Sahayog Foundation Building Futures Through Education

Education Is Where Financial Independence Begins

At FatakPay, financial inclusion is not just about access to credit. It is about building long-term security for India’s underserved workforce and their families.

And if there is one thing that truly strengthens financial independence across generations, it is education.

When a child has the right learning tools, encouragement, and early exposure to financial awareness, the impact extends far beyond the classroom. It shapes confidence. It builds aspirations. It creates future earners, savers, and responsible decision-makers.

That belief became the foundation of our CSR initiative, Building Futures Through Education.

Partnering with Seva Sahayog Foundation

To bring this vision to life, FatakPay partnered with Seva Sahayog Foundation, an organisation working across 36 districts in Maharashtra and five states, impacting over 4.67 lakh beneficiaries annually through education, empowerment and environmental initiatives.

Under the School Kit Drive, we collaborated to assemble and distribute educational kits to students across selected rural and urban schools in Maharashtra.

This initiative was not just about distribution. It was about participation. It was about connection. And most importantly, it was about the impact that lasts.

From Concept to Classroom: How the Initiative Took Shape

The program was designed around three core pillars:

  1. Tangible educational support through thoughtfully curated school kits
  2. Employee volunteer engagement to create a culture of participation
  3. Long-term habit formation through financial literacy inserts like the “Jadui Gullak” concept

The kits were tailored grade-wise to ensure relevance and utility.

Kit Design Philosophy

Each segment received age-appropriate learning tools:

Every kit carried FatakPay branding and financial literacy awareness materials, subtly reinforcing the importance of savings and responsible money habits from a young age.

Assembly Day: When Purpose Came Alive

On 17th February, from 11 AM to 3 PM, FatakPay’s office transformed into an impact zone.

Four volunteer groups, each comprising 20 participants, came together to assemble 705 school kits under the guidance of the Seva Sahayog Foundation coordination team. Materials had arrived the previous day, and the energy in the room was purposeful and collaborative, with every group working in sync to ensure each kit was thoughtfully prepared.

Boxes were opened. Bags were sorted. Notebooks were counted. Financial inserts were placed carefully into each kit.

But what truly stood out was the spirit.

Team members across levels;  from employees to founders and senior leadership, were not just assembling kits. They were building futures together.

Conversations around childhood, opportunity, and education filled the space. For many volunteers, it was a reminder of how access to basic school supplies once shaped their own journeys.

The Reach: 705 Students, 4 Schools, Countless Possibilities

The assembled kits were distributed across four partner schools:

For each of these children, the kits were more than stationery. They were encouraging. They were acknowledged. They were supported.

Beyond Supplies: Planting the Seeds of Financial Awareness

One of the unique aspects of this initiative was the integration of financial literacy inserts, especially the Jadui Gullak concept.

The idea is simple yet powerful:
Small savings, starting early, and building strong habits.

By introducing savings awareness at the school level, we aim to influence long-term thinking, a foundation for financial independence that aligns directly with FatakPay’s mission.

Education opens doors. Financial awareness ensures those doors stay open.

Employee Engagement: Impact From Within

This CSR activity also strengthened internal alignment.

Through hands-on volunteering, employees experienced the brand mission beyond business metrics. The initiative:

When employees participate directly in impact creation, culture deepens.

Why This Matters for Inclusive Progress

India’s workforce includes millions of hardworking individuals who strive daily to build better futures for their families.

By supporting the education of their children, we strengthen that foundation.

Education is not a short-term intervention. It is a generational investment.

With access to learning tools, early financial awareness, and encouragement, students are better equipped to grow into financially independent adults.

This initiative reinforces FatakPay’s belief:
Standing behind India’s hardest workers means standing behind their families too.

Looking Ahead: A Commitment to Continuity

Building Futures Through Education is not a one-time effort.

It is a step toward sustained engagement with schools, communities, and partners who share our belief in inclusive progress.

With partners like Seva Sahayog Foundation and the enthusiasm of our employee volunteers, we aim to continue supporting initiatives that create measurable, meaningful impact.

Closing Thought: Education Is Financial Empowerment in Its Purest Form

Financial inclusion does not begin with credit.
It begins with confidence.
It begins with opportunity.
It begins with education.

And at FatakPay, we remain committed to building both.
